Should be allowed to see The Godfather?

I have 16 years and my parents have banned me in my room while watching my brother's godfather most, two, 18 and 20. I totally checked, because I have to stay here while watching a movie I die I want to see almost 4 years. I know there is violence, but I saw The Patriot, Master and Commander saw me, saw the Passion of Christ, I saw Red Dawn, Lord of the Rings movies and more "violent." And I saw with them is not how I got to see. So I'm just missing something, what's wrong with The Godfather, he was banished to my room? I do not want to go against them, but I'm about to find a version online and see there.

The Godfather (1972) is one of the greatest movies of all time, and I can understand why you want to see. Marlon Brando as Don Corleone was exceptional character and lines are constantly being taken by the actors and the general public. Personally, I think the 16 years that are mature enough to see it, because in a year or two, you are college age. On the one hand, more fun, the film always opened my appetite.
